I'll Bet You a Steak- There is no "E-Mail Scandal" Following Hillary

Last night, Univision Anchor Jorge Ramos opened the Democratic Presidential Debate by asking Hillary Clinton if she would drop out of the race if she is indicted on the grounds of the FBI inquiry into her email server. She has no reason to take that question seriously:

In fact, journalists, in general, have avoided raising this worst-case scenario because an FBI probe of Clinton's email practice is reportedly focused on security, not criminal activity (though investigators are also trying to determine whether a crime might have been committed).

It is of course possible (what isn't?), but seemingly unlikely, that she will be indicted. Suggesting that the email investigation might prevent Clinton from seeking the presidency has mostly been the domain of Donald Trump and others with an agenda.

Many cabinet members, including the last two Secretaries of State before Clinton, had private emails. There is no crime in that. There really is no story to this. The FBI is checking on the security of the email server. That she had a private e-mail or classified material, is a non-issue.

I'll take a bet- Hillary Clinton won't be indicted. There's nothing to this story, so I'm betting a steak. Have at it.
