I never had much respect for Chris Christie or his politics. He bullied his opponents, using the stature of his office, and that was before he was even governor. Once he was in office, he spent his days blaming $50,000 a year public workers, teachers, and the poor, while defending tax cuts for the wealthy, help for his supporters, and exacting revenge on his rivals. The man was always a bully, fortunately most of you figured that out after he closed down a bridge.
Even so, Christie at least seemed to keep his consistency. He might be wrong about a lot of issues, but he was at least an "alpha dog." That was true, at least until he endorsed Donald Trump. Now he's selling himself out for favor with Trump, a man who was ultimately an even better bully than him. As if that wasn't bad enough, then there was this scene where Trump told Christie to "get on the plane and go home." What a humiliation. He did everything but make him call him "sir." So much for the pit-bull Christie, the brand of politics where he spoke his mind and stood up to anyone. That's as good as dead.
I'd rather die a lion than live life as a lamb. Apparently Christie would just rather remain relevant.
